Description
These 8 1/2 x 11 inserts were a promotion that ran in La Patrie newspaper in Montreal. The gorgeous near sepia-toned photos are on a semi-thick stock and are difficult to find today in nice condition. Patterson was a journeyman winger who played for seven different teams over nine NHL seasons (1926 – 1935) before embarking on a long minor league career that saw him play through 1945.
Grades VG-EX, with only minor wrinkles (common with thin photos) and some light back staining (see scans).
Hockey material from the 1920’s is scarce and regional issues featuring NHLers are even more limited.
