HOFer Laviolette played nine seasons with the Canadiens before a car accident ended his playing days. He was the main force behind the formation of the Canadiens franchise, and was the team’s first captain, coach and general manager. He was also a star Lacrosse player.

These 8 1/2 x 11 inserts were a promotion that ran in La Patrie newspaper in Montreal. The gorgeous near sepia-toned photos are on a semi-thick stock and are difficult to find today in nice condition.

This clean example grades VG-EX with some light wrinkles and some edge and corner wear.
