Description
Mitchell played 14 seasons of pro ball, including eight solid years at the big league level. From 1909 to 1912 he put together some excellent Deadball seasons, never hitting below .283 (high of .310), hitting double digits in triples each year (leading the NL in 1909 and 1910), driving in between 78 and 88 runs, and stealing 30+ bases in three of the four years.
