Description

Doby was only weeks behind Jackie Robinson in breaking the color barrier and criminally underrated in the hobby in comparison to Robinson’s card prices.  This HOFer hit 20+ HRs in eight consecutive seasons which saw him better the 100-RBI mark five times. He led the AL in runs, HR (2x), RBI, OB%, Slugging and OPS, and hit .318 in the 1948 World Series.
