Description
Superb portrait of pitcher, Harry Krause, who won 18 games as a 20-year-old, then followed it up by winning back-to-back World Series with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1910 and 1911. By 1913 he was pitching in the PCL, which was among the strongest minor leagues at the time. He would stay there for many years, winning 19 or more games six times, including a 28-win season with Oakland in 1917. He would play 22 professional seasons, finishing with a 294-250 record. This one has the scarce Sovereign 350, Forest Green, back, and is a low pop card (1 of 3, 5 graded higher of the 30 SGC examples).
