Description

Sloan was a solid goal scorer (220 over 13 seasons) twice hitting 30+ goals including 37 in the 1955-56 season which was good enough to finish 2nd in MVP voting to the great Jean Beliveau. He would win two Stanley Cups, one in 1951 with Toronto, his first full season (he’d played in 29 games over two seasons prior) in the NHL, and the other in his last NHL season, with Chicago in 1960-61.
