Description
Center of Toronto’s famous “Kid Line” with Charlie Conacher and Busher Jackson, HOFer Primeau played only six NHL seasons. In that brief time, he won a Lady Byng Trophy (was runner-up twice and finished third in the voting twice), led the league in assists three times, was runner-up for the scoring title twice (finishing behind his linemates on both occasions), and won a Stanley Cup. After retiring early at age 30 he came back to coaching and eventually led the Leafs to the 1951 Stanley Cup title.
