2nd-year card of goaltender Roger Crozier, who broke in with a bang, leading the league with 40 wins and 6 shutouts, winning the Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year and taking first-team all-star honors.  The following year he would backstop the Red Wings to the Stanley Cup finals where they would ultimately lose to the Montreal Canadiens, but Crozier would be named playoff MVP, taking home the Conn Smythe Trophy in a losing cause.
