Description
This tiny pre-war pin was issued by Sweet Caporal cigarettes between 1910 and 1912. The set features more than 200 pins, thanks to several variations. Many of the photos used are the same as those in the popular T-205 tobacco card set.
Hall of Fame Roger Bresnahan was a star catcher and World Series winner, known for promoting the use of protective gear, including shin guards and batting helmets, and as a manager, for getting ejected on a regular basis. “Small letters” variation, with “mouth closed” (there is a rarer version with his mouth open).
Grades EX-MT
Note: there are a total of 117 Bresnahan “small letters” pins graded by PSA.
