This tiny pre-war pin was issued by Sweet Caporal cigarettes between 1910 and 1912.  The set features more than 200 pins, thanks to several variations.  Many of the photos used are the same as those in the popular T-205 tobacco card set.

HOFer Hughie Jennings was one of the best hitters of the 1890s. Over a 5-year stretch he hit .335, .386, .401, .355 and .328. His on-base percentages over the same period were all over .400, including .472 in 1896. He was highly proficient at getting hit by pitches, leading the league in each of those five seasons, including a whopping 51 times in 1896. He ended up with a lifetime .312 batting average over his 18 seasons.

After his playing days Jennings became a successful manager, lasting 16 seasons with 14 of those helming the Detroit Tigers where he won three American League pennants. He was best known for the entertaining way he coached third base. He would rack up 1,184 wins and a lifetime .543 winning percentage.
