Description

Fletcher was one of the top shortstops in the game for many years, playing 14 Major League seasons including 12 with the New York Giants. He was a solid hitter, regularly hitting between .270 and .290, getting his fair share of extra base hits and driving in runs. He was particularly adept at getting hit by pitches, leading the National League on no less than 5 times. With a scarce Hassan factory 30 back.
