The T3 Turkey Red promotion was a mail-away reward program run by the American Tobacco Company. Instead of finding the large 5¾ x 8-inch cabinet cards inside tobacco packs, smokers collected paper coupons packed with three specific cigarette brands and mailed them to the American Tobacco Company to claim their cards. Collectors had a choice between baseball players (T3) or boxers (T9).  Turkey Red cigarettes were the easiest to redeem, requiring only 10 coupons per card, while Old Mill and Fez cigarettes required 25 coupons.
