Description

The very first Magic issue, from 1993, the limited-edition Alpha set, had a total print run of 2.6 million cards. By comparison the Beta issue had 7.8 million, and the white border Unlimited issue around 34 million. The Alpha was by far the smallest set issued, the foundation of a hobby phenomenon that continues today, 30+ years later. This Alpha edition Island is graded 8.5 NM-MT+ by CGC.
