1954 Gordie Howe
This classic card is from Topps very first hockey set, released in 1954. It featured the US-based teams, and the biggest star in the game, Mr. Hockey. The classic design remains in high demand among vintage collectors today.
1966 Rare Lobby Poster
This oversized cardboard poster was made for the lobby of the Danceland Ballroom in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for a concert by the Turtles, February 19, 1966. These hand painted Danceland lobby posters are extremely rare today, as only one was made for each concert held at the venue. The Turtles went on to chart topping fame a year later with their hit "Happy Together".
Early 60s R&B Act with Tommy Chong
This very rare cardboard poster is a tour blank (local venue would add their info in the blank spot at the top) from about 1963 or 64, featuring a local Canadian act, Lil Daddy and the Bachelors. The middle singer, bottom right, is none other than Tommy Chong, future member of the comedy team of "Cheech & Chong".
1878 Huntley & Palmers - Baseball Card
This incredible piece is one of the very first baseball cards, issued way back in 1878. It was an advertisement for Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, with the back listing flavors and ingredients, among other things.
Creedence Clearwater Revival 1968
Amazing concert poster by artist Rick Griffin, done using an old advertising theme.
Only Graded Example!
This rare concert poster from July of 1967 features the Yardbirds (with Jimmy Page), Moby Grape, Captain Beefheart, and Iron Butterfly. This is the only original pre-concert poster graded by CGC.
TCG Holy Grail
Magic: The Gathering took the hobby by storm and created an entire genre. The combination of a brilliant strategy game and collectible cards caught fire around the world. The Black Lotus was a rare card to begin with, and those that survived command big dollars. An "Alpha" version, from the first very limited issue, sold for over $500,000 at auction.
