Description
Great card that combines a Hall of Famer, a gorgeous design, and a rare back. Davis broke in way back in 1890, hit .300 or better nine times, drove in 90 or more runs five times (including a league leading 135 in 1897), while stealing 30 or more bases 11 times (including 65, also in 1897). He finished his 20-year big league career with 2,665 hits, 1,440 RBI, 619 stolen bases, and a lifetime .295 batting average. This Davis card boasts one of the more colorful backgrounds, and in this case, a rare back with the El Principe de Gales brand. This is 1 of 2, with 7 graded higher, of the only 29 graded between both SGC and PSA.
