Description
Brother of HOF pitcher Stan Coveleski, Harry was a pretty good hurler in his own right. He had a brief cup of coffee in the majors, went down the minors where he honed his craft, went 28-9 in 1913 and earned another shot in the majors at the age of 28. From 1914- to 1916, he would win 20+ games per season (22, 22, 21), throw 300+ innings, and post three sub-par ERAs in that span (low of 1.97 in 1916). This is an uncorrected error as well with his last name misspelled on the card, with a Piedmont 350/25 back.
