Description
Frank “Wildfire” Schulte was a slugger in the Deadball Era. He won the MVP in 1911 when he hit .300 and led the NL in HRs (21 – which was a lot back then) and RBI with 107. He also racked up 21 triples that year and stole 23 bases. He would lead the league in HR in 1910 as well and would hit double digits in triples six times. He won a pair of World Series with the Cubs and overall hit .321 in WS play, including .389 in 1908 (Cubs win) and .412 in 1910 (Cubs loss). With a tougher Sweet Caporal 35-460 factory 25 back.
