In 1921, Dandurand and his partners purchased the Montreal Canadiens. Under their ownership, the Canadiens won the Stanley Cup in 1924, 1930, and 1931. He stepped behind the bench and coached the team until 1926 and was also the coach for the 1934–35 season, and the general manager from 1921 until 1935.  He sold his interests in the team in 1935.

Dandurand and his partners were heavily involved with horse racing. and owned as many as 17 racetracks.  Dandurand was also a boxing and wrestling promoter in Montreal and a director of the Montreal Royals baseball team.  In 1946, Dandurand founded the Montreal Alouettes football team, winning the Grey Cup in 1949. He is one of only six people to have their names on both the Grey Cup and Stanley Cup.

He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1963.

These 8 1/2 x 11 inserts were a promotion that ran briefly in La Patrie newspaper in Montreal. The gorgeous near sepia-toned photos are on a semi-thick stock and are difficult to find today in nice condition.

This clean example grades VG with stress wrinkles, minor creasing and corner wear.
