Description
Rookie card of one the game’s early superstars. Stewart won the league MVP as a rookie in 1926 when he led the NHL in goals and points, and again in 1929, becoming the first player in NHL history to win the award more than once. He was a prolific scorer in the 20s and 30s, and retired as the all-time leader in goals scored, a record he held until broken by Maurice Richard in 1952. Tough pre-WW II key hockey card, with strong visual appeal for the grade.
Graded 2 GD by PSA.
