Description
HOFer Selke was a long-time hockey manager, winning three Stanley Cups as Conn Smythe’s assistant in Toronto, and then six more as GM of the Canadiens. He was the architect of Montreal’s highly successful farm system, laying the foundation for Stanley Cup success well into the 1970s.
