Description
“Big Klu” was the premier power bat of the National League during the mid-1950s. He hit 40 home runs three seasons in a row (when ballparks sported deeper fences) and drove in 100+ RBI four straight times. He also hit for average, better the .300 mark seven times. In 1954 he led the NL in HR (49), RBI (141) while hitting .326, finishing second to Willie Mays for the MVP.
