This is gorgeous 2nd print by artist Bob Fried for an Avalon show in August of 1967 featuring jazz great Charles Lloyd and his quartet (with Jack DeJohnette and Keith Jarrett) and West Coast Natural Gas Co.  Lloyd was an early practitioner of “world music” incorporating rhythms and instruments from diverse cultures.  He would go on to tour and record with the Beach Boys while actively expanding his own recordings.  West Coast Natural Gas Co. was a Seattle-based psych band who would disband in 1968.
