Description

One of the more popular rock posters of the era (FD-46), this is known as “Dance of the Five Moons” and is by the master of color contrasts, Victor Moscoso.  These February 1967 shows at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco feature Berkeley’s Country Joe & the Fish, along with the Sparrow (later known as Steppenwolf), and Kaleidoscope.  There are two distinct pre-concert printings, this is the thin paper version which highlights a deep, brilliant blue background.
