Frumious Bandersnatch, one of the more interestingly named bands, was a Berkeley-based psychedelic rock band active from 1967 to 1969.  It was named after a character from the Lewis Carroll poem “Jabberwocky”.  This scarce blank-backed handbill measures 6″ x 6 1/2″ and was issued to promote a series of upcoming shows at the Retinal Circus in Vancouver, Canada. One example recently sold at auction for $325 USD.
