Description

This is the toughest and rarest of the postcards issued for Vancouver’s Retinal Circus in 1968.  The shows feature Dallas-born Jazz great, John Handy, along with the Good Shepherds, a local act that had ties to Bobby Taylor and the Vancouvers (which included a young Tommy Chong).  This pyramid shaped (7″ bottom x 10″ sides) postcard is rarely found in good condition, thanks to the oversized and odd configuration.  This one overall is superb, with clean borders and superb color, the only flaw being some creasing to the top tip, which is common in the few specimens that circulate today.  A rare and desirable card from Vancouver’s psychedelic scene.
