This is an original postcard for the June 18-23, 1968, concerts at the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, California, featuring a great lineup of acts, including The Chambers Brothers, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, It’s a Beautiful Day, Sly and the Family Stone, and Quicksilver Messenger Service.
The back features a calendar of events for June – August (type B). What a great time for music lovers to live in San Francisco!
This card is in MINT condition with sharp corners, and no creases, dings, pinholes or other flaws. This postcard measures 4 5/8″ x 7 5/16″ with clean bright colors.
This is an original pre-concert first printing.
The art here is by Lee Conklin, who utilized detailed, visually complex and layered designs. This piece is catalogued in the Bill Graham series as BG125.
