This is an original pre-concert printing of the April 1968 poster for the Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Charlatans and It’s a Beautiful Day at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, California.

Amazingly colorful art by Alton Kelley, one of the originators of the concert poster genre. Condition is a superb Near Mint plus with excellent corners, gloss and blazing colors. With poster values skyrocketing, some of these almost 60-year-old original printings are still available at reasonable prices, and this is one of them.
