1909-11 T206 – Sam Crawford (Batting) (SGC 3)

$525.00

Great early HOFer

Description

Gorgeous example of this great HOFer’s T206 “batting” card. Crawford was a feared power hitter in the Deadball Era. He was a specialist in hitting fearsome line drives into gaps, which were wide and long in those days. The result was triples, and lots of them. He led the AL six times, amassing a record (never to be broken) 309 total, and RBI three times. He was a career .309 hitter with 2,961 hits.  This card was awarded a Above Average “A” designation (top 30% eye appeal) by PWCC.  With Sweet Caporal 35-460, factory 25, back and plenty of eye appeal.

Graded 3 VG by SGC
