1909-11 T206 – Sam Crawford (Batting) (SGC 3)

$500.00

Great early HOFer

Description

Gorgeous example of this great HOFer’s T206 “batting” card. Crawford was a feared power hitter in the Deadball Era. He was a specialist in hitting fearsome line drives into gaps, which were wide and long in those days. The result was triple, and a lot of them. He led the AL in triple 6 times, amassing a record (never to be broken) 309 total, and RBI 3 times. He was a career .309 hitter with 2,961 hits. This card was awarded a Above Average “A” designation (top 30% eye appeal) by PWCC.

Sweet Caporal 35-460, factory 25, back, and is graded a superior 3 VG by SGC.
