This original handbill is for a pair of concerts at the University of San Diego, April 17 & 18, 1969, featuring The Sons, Elvin Bishop and Stoneground.

The Sons, aka Sons of Champlin, were an eclectic and well-known Bay Area band. Bishop rose to prominence as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and later as a solo artist. Stoneground was another band from central California.

This handbill by San Andreas Fault (aka Tad Hunter) plays off the Marvel Comics character, the Incredible Hulk.  It is certified and graded 7.5 by CGC, the top third-party independent grader of concert posters, handbills and postcards, as well as comic books.

This is catalogued in the Art of Rocke series as AOR-4.118, and it is the ONLY CGC-graded example of this scarce handbill.
