Big Brother was drawing strong audiences thanks to the incredible Janis Joplin, while LA band Iron Butterfly were a couple of months away from the release and success of “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida”. Third on the bill was the famous Memphis Staxx band, Booker T and the MG’s, who were best known for their instrumental hit “Green Onions”.

Lofthouse’s psychedelic artwork frames a Tom Weir photo collage of Janis and Big Brother.  The original pre-concert printing is superb Near Mint condition.
