Description

This is an original pre-concert handbill for a series of concerts in September and October 1970, at the Fillmore West, in San Francisco, California.

The September 25-27 shows featured Chuck Berry, Buddy Miles, and Loading Zone.

The October 1-4 shows featured Eric Burdon & War, Seals and Crofts, and Clover.

This handbill measures 7″ x 9 1/4″, and is in MINT condition with sharp corners, and no creases, dings, pinholes or other flaws.

Art is by David Singer, who combined complex collages and remarkable and intricate lettering.

The back features a calendar of upcoming events, including Van Morrison, Captain Beefheart, Miles Davis, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, and others.

This is an original pre-concert first printing, BG250 in the Bill Graham series.
