Description

Williams played organized baseball from 1895 to 1915, including 11 seasons in the majors where he found some success as a hitter. His rookie season, 1899, saw him burst onto the scene with 26-game and 27-game hitting streaks, a .354 batting average and 116 RBIs, while leading the National League in triples with 27. He would record full season batting averages above .300 on two more occasions, leading the league in triples both times, but never was able to perform to the level his rookie season established.

With a Sweet Caporal 150 back, graded 3 VG by SGC.
