Excellent example of HOFer Brooks’ 1961 Topps offering. Robinson is widely regarded as the greatest defensive third baseman of all-time, winning an amazing 16 Gold Gloves. He was also a solid hitter who racked up 2,848 hits, 268 HRs and 1,357 RBI over his 23-year big league seasons. He was known as a clutch performer as well, hitting .303 (well above his career .267 avg) over 39 post seasons games that included a pair of World Series championships with Baltimore.
