Description

Here’s a card from the Family Dog, which promoted this June 1967 show at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco with Big Brother and the Holding Company (w/ Janis Joplin), Canned Heat and Congress of Wonders.  Art is by the popular Rick Griffin, who among others experimented with vintage advertising-inspired themes.  This card, which is catalogued as FD-65 in the Family Dog series, was only printed once, prior to the concert.
