This is a second print, post-concert poster (printed shortly after the show) from a November 1966 performance by the Grateful Dead, James Cotton Blues Band and Lothar and the Hand People, at the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, California.

Art by Wes Wilson is a classic design for a great triple bill at the Fillmore. This is among the quintessential posters of the psychedelic scene and is very popular among collectors. It is currently on its sixth printing!

Second and third prints (where available) are enjoying a resurgence among collectors as they provide a more reasonable price point than their now very pricey original cousins. These second prints were often printed within a year of the concerts, so they’re only a slightly “newer” versions. They were printed from the original printing plates, so the quality is high, and they frame up as well as the pre-concert versions.
