This is a gorgeous original pre-concert first print poster for a 1969 performance by It’s a Beautiful Day, Ike & Tina Turner and Alice Cooper, at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, California. It seems quite the contrast having It’s a Beautiful Day and a young and wild Alice Cooper on the same bill, along with the high energy Ike & Tina Turner show, but this type of wild diversity among the acts was proving a hit with the Bay Area audiences.

This great design is by Bonnie MacLean, who ended up marrying promoter Bill Graham. This design echoes her chalkboard work, which was done inside the venue. This 55-year-old original in fantastic shape, the corners are sharp, and there are no flaws, cuts, nicks, bends, or creases.
